YOUTH & CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
An
extensive program of Christian nursery, preschool education, and Sunday School is
provided.
Nursery is provided for children from birth to age two. Mothers and members
of the church serve in this ministry on a monthly rotating basis.
Genesis 33:5 - “And he lifted up his eyes and saw the women and the
children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children
which God hath graciously given thy servant.”
We are servants for Jesus. God hath graciously
given us these little children. They are a joy and are precious to
watch as they grow from week to week.
We are to raise and train these little children for the Lord. We have enjoyed your babies and they are precious gifts from
God.
We have faithful
workers who are in the Nursery every week.
That’s 52 hours a year, yet we still need workers to work at
least one hour a month, to give some of these ladies a break.
We just ask one hour a month, LADIES OR MOMS, for the care of these
little ones which the Lord has given us.
You can choose the hour most convenient for you.
We need help during the Sunday School, Sunday evening and Wednesday
evening services. Please pray
about serving in the Nursery.
Preschool and Sunday School for Children of 2 years to Teens - Members of the
congregation give of their time and talents each Sunday to teach in the preschool
departments of the Sunday School. Volunteers help each Sunday to teach preschool children
in Extended Session. This time during worship is an extension of our Bible study time with
our younger preschoolers.
Junior and Senior High Teen Classes -The church also provides Junior and Senior High Teen Classes that are taught by our Youth Ministers.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." (Luke 2:52). The purpose of all of our children's ministries is to help children grow as Jesus grew--mentally, physically, spiritually and socially.
